Both, BCA and as well as B.Sc IT are technical courses that can offer a better job opportunity to students. Key differences between BCA and B.Sc IT: BCA students are involved more in computer applications whereas B.Sc students can have advanced job opportunities in internet technology and database management. After successful completion of the course BCA, students can go for PG courses like M.Sc (IT), MCA and MBA. The students who procured B.Sc can have further courses on MCA (Master of Computer Applications). Students interested in having a job in software or in computer applications can choose to study BCA. BCA course is also a good option for students who wish to take a PG degree in MCA. Students who are interested in database operations or internet can go for B.Sc IT. Anyway, both these courses can offer challenging jobs in the field of computers.

B.Sc. IT is far better than BCA because the knowledge you get IT is much highly upgraded as comparison with BCA. Best of luck.

As you are looking towards IT industry and want to become an ethical hacker then I'd recommend you to go for BCA because BCA is a technical course which is fully oriented towards IT, whereas, B.Sc is a general course. Therefore, in your case, BCA will provide much more value to become an ethical hacker.

BCA has comparatively higher scope than B.Sc. In IT and BCA is also the course which give enough knowledge about the software field.
