If you make a plan and work on it, then it is a good idea. You have to aim for your vision, work hard and smart for the same.

it depends upon your previous year score if you missed it from 15-10 marks then go for pepration and work hard . and the gap is large 40-50 then try for state college or any private institute wbjee , jcece , bcece etc.

According to me, you should not drop your valuable 1 year but you should learn the capability of taking two studies together and getting good scores.

its obviously good to drop a year if u r confident that u can get a seat in IIT or nit then there nothing better then it.but remember its make or break tym !!!!studying one more year is better then searching for job one year after passing out wid an avg college
