I was in my grandparent’s house on this Bakrid and this was my FIRST time when I was actually watching the festival closely.
The entire festival is quite interesting. My RELATIVES and neighbours came to the house and we exchanged gifts and talked for hours. My grandparents shared so many exciting stories of their childhood as well.
I came to know lots of rituals about this festival. In fact, the best part was I had lots of delicious foods and beverages on that day. ONE of my aunts MADE the Bakrid special Shahi Tukra, which was HEAVENLY tasty. Overall, the day was fantastic.
