I need advice on what technology to use. Here are a few lines of specification:
A few things to take into consideration:
I’m a well-versed DB developer with extensive experience in PL/SQL and T-SQL, but haven't coded web pages for about 15 years.
What I really am looking for is a way to keep all of the app logic in the DB end, and have the web app as light as possible.
Would it be possible that the DB generates the WEB app with all forms so that the page is dynamically re-generated based on the search criteria entered by the user.
The plan is to buy in standardized 3rd party modules whenever there are suitable ones available. I don't want to start coding anything from scratch. I have been playing around with wordpress, but have a feeling that this is not the way to go.
