I understand Intel RST and purchased my machine specifically for Smart Response Technology.
I'm pretty sure the RST & Smart Response Technology is handled by the RAID controller, so I'm curious what does the Windows Service actually do? Since it is delayed startup, does that mean that I get no cached boost until after the service starts?
